Riley got her expander off today and as is the tradition in our house she got to pick the treat of her choice. It was a Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory Grasshopper apple. I am assuming it was delicious, but I did not get a taste. After almost a year of wearing the expander Riley is orthodontia free for at least 6 months. Crossing our fingers that we get lucky and she does not need further orthodontia work, but we will have a follow up in August.
Now she can happily enjoy popcorn, chips, bubble gum and caramel apples!
